Delaware faces several challenges related to water quality and flooding and we have an opportunity to improve our environment, economy, and public health by supporting environmentally-focused policies.
Our policy priorities include:
- Securing dedicated, sustainable, clean water funding at the state level such as the Clean Water for Delaware Act;
- Advocating for equal funding access for low-income and underserved communities in Delaware;
- Passing local land use ordinances and regulations that will benefit water quality;
- Prioritizing funds for green infrastructure like wetland restoration to improve water quality.
